Long Island Aquatic Club head swimming coach Dave Ferris has been selected by USA Swimming to coach with a United States swimming team for the upcoming summer season.  The organization announced that Ferris has been honored with the position of men's assistant coach for the World University Games. Ferris's appointment to the World  University Games coaching staff will take him to Daegu, Korea for the August 21-31 competition.  An assistant at USA National Team camps twice in the past, he will join a top-rated staff that will be headed up by Larry Liebowitz, (University of Southern California), and will also have Dennis Dale, (University of Minnesota), as an assistant.  This is Ferris's first international appointment.
