Long Island Aquatic Club Fees
Included on this page are the registration
dates for all returning members of LIAC as well as
the team tuition details. In addition, swimmers
are responsible for their own meet

Registration
for all returning
members will be Thursday,
September 4 4:00 p.m. - 7:00
p.m. at the Aquatics Center.
Parents, please remember you will need three
(3) checks at that time: The
first installment of your tuition
payment will be split into 2 separate
checks and you will need a $100 check to
reopen you entry fee account.

you have an outstanding balance in your
account from the 2002-2003 season, you
will be required to pay this balance
with additional checks prior to
registering for the new season.***
The mandatory parents
meeting will be held on Wednesday
October 1st @7:00pm in the VIP room. All
parents are urged to attend.

Fee Structure

Each group on LIAC has it's own tuition
rate. The Junior, Junior A, Senior, and National Team will split the
cost of tuition into three separate payments.
The first payment, due at the time of registration, is broken down into two components.
The first and larger component of the tuition is made payable to the "Treasurer
of Nassau County". Checks made payable to the "Treasurer of Nassau County"
cover the operational aspect of the program minus USA Swimming registration
and individual entry fees. The second check, and smaller portion of the
first tuition payment, is made payable to the "Friends of Nassau-Long Island Swimming".
That check is a non-refundable payment.
***The
Developmental Program is non-refundable.***

All competitive team members from
Developmental through National must be members of USA Swimming ($35.00/year).
In addition each swimmer is responsible for their own individual entry fees to
meets. These fees vary form one meet to the next but in general they run
form $1.75 to about $4.00 per event.
We require that each competitive
swimmer keep a positive balance in their entry fee account. Each swimmer needs
to open their account with $100.00
at the time of registration. The check is made payable to "Friends of Nassau-Long
Island Swimming". This check should be marked "Entry
Fees". Your balance in the entry fee account will be reported to
you in your statements.
